Armstrong AMT Masquers Summer Theatre opens its “Summer of Simon” series of three Neil Simon comedies with Barefoot in the Park, his longest running hit, a trouble-in-paradise comical insight into the suddenly complicated and compromising lives of newlyweds Paul and Corie.

Personality differences aside, they find an assortment of challenging troubles with their new apartment: lack of heat, a hole in the skylight, several flights of stairs, eccentric neighbors, and Corie's constantly visiting mother. Is this marriage built to last, or will the quirky challenges they encounter break them apart?

Performances are at Armstrong's Jenkins Hall Theater.
