Armstrong's Jazz Ensemble performs under the direction of Randall Reese, D.M.A.

Featuring guest saxophonist, Jody Espina, the ensemble parlays three arrangements of Gershwin hits including his opera-aria-to-become-jazz-standard "Summertime" from Porgy and Bess, his frequently remade-and-used-in-film But Not For Me, and his oft-recorded sentimental show tune Embraceable You, on a program that also includes standard charts by Matt Harris, Phil Woods, Sammy Nestico and Bob Mintzer.

The concert is at 7:30 p.m. in the Armstrong Fine Arts Auditorium.
