2013 Armstrong National 2-D Exhibition Application

The Armstrong Fine Arts Gallery is now accepting submissions for its second annual Armstrong National 2-D Competition Exhibition. We are looking for talented young and mid-career artists throughout the nation whose work covers a variety concepts and addresses different issues and technical considerations in art.
The show will be juried by Sean Greene. Mr. Greene has frequently exhibited throughout the United States in galleries such as the William Baczek Fine Arts Gallery and the Geoffrey Young Gallery both in Massachusetts, Gallery 532 in New York, the Artisphere in Virginia, and the New Image Art in California. His work is in private collections in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and France, as well as in the corporate collection of Neiman Marcus and the University Museum of Contemporary Art in Amherst.
The Armstrong Fine Arts Gallery was started in 1976 and currently hosts over nine exhibitions per calendar year.
Eligibility
Open to all artists who live in the United States and work with 2-D media, including drawing, graphic design, painting, textiles, print-making, and photography. Artwork must not weigh more than 60 pounds or exceed 50 inches on any side including frames.

Your application must be completed and submitted online by the submission deadline. Scroll down to view and complete online application.
You can submit up to five images of artwork for review. Please note image size and labeling are very important. Images files must be JPEG only, no larger than 1000 pixels in height or width, and a resolution of 72 pixels per inch.
Please label images files LastNameFirstName_Image#_ArtworkTitle.jpg.
Here is an example: “SmithPat_3_ManByLake.jpg”.
Please include a $30 non-refundable check or money order made out to Armstrong. If you wish to submit more than three images, there is an additional charge of $5 per extra image. Add the extra image fee(s) to your check or money order.
