Savannah Winds Annual Patriotic Concert June 30: Underscoring brilliant marches of America's iconic "March king" John Philip Sousa, the uplifting music of legendary composer Irving Berlin and the "blessing of America" to the tune of country-western songwriter Lee Greenwood, this exciting concert features Brigadier General John Hort, U.S. Army, Deputy Commanding General - Rear, 3ID, in narration to the Winds' performance of America, the Beautiful; U.S. Army 3ID honor guard to present our great nation’s colors; and Chatham County Veteran of the Year honors to Jim Vaughan, Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force (Retired). |
