Hampton's solo recital features beautiful music by Austrian romantic composer Franz Schubert and American impressionist Charles Griffes. His performance also includes solo piano music by Oscar, Grammy, and Pulitzer Prize-winning American composer John Corigliano, who is known by many for The Red Violin, his violin concerto that uses themes from the popular film of the same title.
Hampton holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Maryland, a Master of Music degree from Drake University, and a Bachelor of Music degree from William Jewell College.
