July 2012 – Final Preparations

• Finalize physical preparations on campus (signage, removal of ashtrays, etc.)
• Ongoing communication to campus constituents of “go live” policy implementation on 8/1/2012 and campus resources available for smoking cessation
• TFCIT meeting to review campus readiness for implementation.

August 2012 – Policy in Effect

• Policy implementation “goes live” on 8/1/2012 at beginning of Fall Semester 2012
• Ongoing communication to campus constituents of policy reminder and campus resources available for smoking cessation

September – November 2012 – Ongoing Diligence

• Ongoing communication to campus constituents of policy reminder and campus resources available for smoking cessation
• TFCIT participation in campus activities to promote tobacco-free status
