General Criteria

Each program will demonstrate that it meets appropriate standards, including information from reports of professional accrediting organizations and through review of student learning outcomes. Program self-studies must demonstrate that the program
  • is effective and proficient in educating its students,
  • that it has adequate faculty, space, and resources to fulfill its mission, and
  • that it supports the mission of the university.
Board of Regents (BOR) will provide annual program enrollment threshold reports for informational purposes and resources to advance best practices in CPR across the University System of Georgia. Program self-studies will be reviewed by teams of external faculty and outside evaluators appointed by the Vice President and Dean of Faculty. In accordance with BOR policy, Review Team reports will be analyzed by the Vice President, the appropriate deans and department heads, and the Institutional Effectiveness Committee, before being submitted to the BOR.
