Dr. Culverhouse joined the Armstrong Atlantic State University Staff in 2010 as an interim instructor.  She teaches neurology based courses in the undergraduate rehabilitation sciences program and in the physical therapy program.

Dr. Culverhouse has worked in inpatient rehabilitation for past 6 years, primarily with patients with spinal cord and brain injuries.  Though she briefly spent some time in orthopedics, she has discovered a passion for working with people with neurological injuries.  She continues to gain experience through work at a local hospital on the inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Dr. Culverhouse has been an active member of the APTA since 1999 with section memberships in neurology and education.  She has served as recording secretary, brain injury SIG contact for Georgia, and was appointed to the APTA Advisory Panel on Membership Recruitment and Retention. She currently serves as the membership secretary for the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia.
