Morris Slotin Scholarship Fund
(News Archives -> 2001-2002 Archives)AASU Establishes Morris Slotin Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund
Savannah, GA—Armstrong Atlantic State University announces the creation of the Morris Slotin Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund. The new scholarship fund was established in memory of Morris (Moe) Slotin, a physical therapist for CareOne Home Health Services in Savannah and clinical instructor in AASU's Department of Physical Therapy.
Slotin chose physical therapy as a second career, following a successful first career in the music business as a sound engineer. His dedication to the physical therapy profession and lifelong learning were an inspiration to his students, colleagues, and patients. For these reasons, the Morris Slotin Endowed Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding student who has chosen physical therapy as a second career.
Donations to the Morris Slotin Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund can be made payable to the AASU Foundation, Armstrong Atlantic State University, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31419.
