Application Process - Doctor of Physical Therapy
Program applications for the 2014 admissions cycle will be available on July 1, 2013 from the Physical Therapist Centralized Application Service (PTCAS) (The Armstrong Graduate Studies application is not used.)
Specific application deadlines are set annually. (The early admisstion application deadline for the entering 2017 class is August 15, 2013; the regular admission application deadline is October 15, 2013.) Interviews for the early acceptance process will occur in mid to late September. Interviews for the regular admissions process will be in mid-January. See "Admissions" link for information pertaining to prerequisite requirements.
The following code (for Armstrong) should be referenced when requesting GRE reports: 7813. Note that PTCAS has mandated that all candidates must take the GRE and request scores by July 31.
If application, transcripts, scores or fee arrive after the Early Decision deadline, PTCAS will automatically change your file from Early Decision to regular status.
In addition to the PTCAS fees, a supplemental application fee of $25 for Georgia residents, or $50 for out-of-state applicants, is required. A check or money order for the supplemental application fee should be made out to Armstrong Atlantic State University, with "PT app fee" in the memo line.
