Vision

The Biodynamics and Human Performance Center is committed to supporting the education, research, and public service mission of Armstrong Atlantic State University by providing practical learning experiences for undergraduate and graduate students, research opportunities for students and faculty, It is our intent to facilitate quality partnerships between AASU student and faculty, members of Southeast Georgia’s medical community, and commercial businesses and vendors abroad who share an interest in studying and evaluating all aspects of human movement across the lifespan.  The culmination of activities conducted in the Biodynamics and Human Performance Center will contribute to improving the health, fitness, and performance of all persons across the lifespan.

Mission

The Biodynamics and Human Performance Center is dedicated first and foremost to providing high quality education, research and service activities related to the study of human movement.  As Southeast Georgia’s only multi-disciplinary Center dedicated to the quantitative assessment of human movement and performance, it is the Center’s mission to contribute to the body of evidence supporting human movement and performance evaluation, training and restoration of function following injury and disease.  This is realized by ongoing facilitation and utilization of both internal and external partners.
