Graduate Assistants

Michael Nelson
Michael Nelson is currently in his second year of the Sports Medicine Masters program and research assistant for the exercise physiology laboratory. He is from Mondovi, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Kinesiology.

Evan Schneider
Evan Schneider graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sport Science and an emphasis in Athletic Training. He worked with the Georgia mens Football,  Basketball, Baseball and women's Tennis teams as a student Athletic Trainer. He is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and is now a second year student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. He serves as the research assistant for the Muscle Performance Laboratory.

Nate Tamargo
Nate Tamargo graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2006 with a B.S. in Exercise Science. After graduation he worked in professional baseball as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Colorado Rockies (’06-’08) and Los Angeles Dodgers (’09-’10) before returning to school to pursue a Masters degree. Nate, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, is currently in his second year of the Sports Medicine graduate program and serves as the Research Assistant in the Biomechanics Laboratory.

Jake Krieger
Jake Krieger attended Piedmont College receiving his bachelors of science in Biology. Jake is currently in his first year of the Sports Medicine Masters program and serves as a research assistant for the biodynamics laboratory.
