Three-Quarters of a Century - Three Days for AASU
3 Days for AASU is an annual campaign reaching out to the local business community asking for contributions to help support student scholarships at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Scholarship support makes a critical difference to deserving students who may not otherwise fulfill their dreams of earning a college degree. Both traditional and non-traditional students benefit from the lessened financial burden. The ability to offer attractive scholarships provides an investment in our students’ futures as they prepare to become leaders not just in our immediate region, but throughout our world.
In recognition of 75 years at AASU, 3 Days for AASU ’10 is being led by honorary co-chairs who each represent a different era: Y. Allen Beall, retired Savannah Electric executive, Armstrong Junior College '48; Cliff McCurry, Vice Chairman Seacrest Partners, Inc., Armstrong State College '68; and Kaitlen Fulp, BS, '08, Armstrong Atlantic State University Doctor of Physical Therapy Student, Class of 2011. Though their classroom experiences, and the time in which they lived were vastly different, they each were driven to build a better community. And it all began right here at AASU.
