Advisement & Registration
All Adolescent and Adult Education & Community Leadership education teacher preparation programs require coursework, an assessment portfolio and evidence of knowledge and skills. Variations in programs are dependent upon whether the program leads to a teaching certificate, a master's degree with a teaching certificate, or advanced knowledge and skills.Please note the following important information regarding advisement:
- Advisement, registration and financial aid dates are posted on the Admissions website for each academic semester.
- Schedule an advisement session as soon as possible after you have been admitted to AASU.
- Faculty office hours are available through the departmental secretary at 912.344.2562.
- Your program advisor will assist you in designing your program of study as well as keeping you current in matriculation, graduation, and certification procedures.
