LiveText: Assessment System Requirement for
College of Education Programs at Armstrong
If you have already created or renewed your LiveText account, you may disregard the following message!
College of Education candidate,
One of the requirements for all College of Education candidates is to create and maintain an active account within LiveText. LiveText is an electronic assessment and management system chosen by Armstrong for the collection of performance assessment data for all College of Education candidates. The LiveText system is used to aggregate performance data, generate reports, and in some cases manage electronic portfolios including both numerical data and electronic artifacts. Recent state and national accreditation requirements for academic programs now make the use of this type of electronic management and reporting system necessary for standards-based accountability purposes at all levels. More information regarding LiveText, and how we use it, can be found at this link: http://armstrong.edu/livetext
Requirement: All Armstrong candidates in education programs are required to establish and maintain an account with LiveText while they are enrolled into education courses in order to fulfill the requirements of those courses and be retained within a program. Candidates are responsible for ensuring that they establish an account and that they sign in to the account after it has been established.
