Need Help with Vista?Troubleshooting Tips
Known Issue: There is a known issue between Mozilla Firefox and JAVA based tools within Vista eClassroom. This is for the HTML creator, the chat tool and/or the My Computer icon not appearing when a student/faculty member tries to add attachments, since these are JAVA based tools. Please switch to either Internet Explorer 7 or 8 on a PC or Safari 4 on a MAC. The Safari 5 browser is not a supported browser with Vista eClassroom for MAC. Also Google Chrome is not a supported browser for the PC.
Known Issue: The latest JAVA update 1.6.0_29 does not work with Respondus LockDown Browser on the newest Operating Systems for MAC (10.6 and 10.7). If you find that your computer has updated you will need to roll back to a previous version of JAVA or go to another computer to use the Respondus LockDown Browser.
