BANNER Extracts
This process is run to gather information about student registration from SHIP to have course shells, student registration and faculty/student access placed into Vista eClassroom. IT Services is required by USG to submit this process by 3pm daily. Any student that is registered before 1pm will be included with that submission. If registered after 1pm, their information will be included in the next submission.
Schedule
Course shells are extracted 5 weeks prior to an upcoming semester for Instructors to build. This gives instructors the ability to build their course content without students having the ability to view during the building process.
Student registration information is loaded one week prior to any semester beginning. Processing occurs daily through the attendance verification end date listed on the Academic Calendar. BANNER extracts will be processed weekly throughout the majority of the semester. The dates below are scheduled BANNER extracts.
