CLEP Tests

The CLEP exam fee will be $80. The fee for optional essays will remain $10. English Composition and Freshman Collegem Composition will be replaced  by College Composition Modular and English Composition with Essay will be replaced by College Composition. 
Any individual wishing to receive credit for a college-level class may take any CLEP exam at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Test registration forms are available in the Office of Testing Memorial College Center Room 206 or you can retrieve a copy from Armstong's Testing Services webpage at CLEP Registration Formimage. There is a $25 non-refundable proctoring fee (Payable to Armstrong) for each test and a CLEP test fee of $80 per test. For students who take the CLEP exam for College Freshman Composition and Analyzing & Interpreting Literature an additional essay ($10 payable to Armstrong) is required for credit to be received. Degree-seeking students in the 62+ Program may obtain a waiver of the service fee from the Office of Adult Academic Services, 203 and 204 Victor Hall.

* Georgia Government Examination is required to satisfy state requirement for US & GA government.
** A "clearly passing" essay as well as passing score on objective test is required for credit.
(a) Grade of C or better in 2001 language course is required before credit is awarded.
(b) Grade of C or better in 3000-level language course is required before credit is awarded.
