About The Student Recreation Center

Armstrong Atlantic State University believes that students, faculty and staff should strive to maintain a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. The Armstrong Student Recreation Center opened in the summer of 2006. Here you can find everything you need to get healthy and stay happy - from treadmills to free weights to fitness trainers and group exercise classes.
 

Memberships

Armstrong Main Campus (Savannah) Students: There is no additional cost for main campus students because they already pay Student Recreation fees each semester.

Armstrong Online and Liberty Campus Students: Students taking online only or Liberty Center classes are not assessed Student Recreation fees each semester. Therefore, these students must pay a $43 fee each semester to utilize the Student Recreation Center. Forms may be picked up at the Entry Desk at the Student Recreation Center or Download Student Membership Form

Armstrong Full-Time Faculty/Staff: All full-time faculty/staff are eligible to purchase Recreation Center memberships at the rate of $132 per year or $44 per semester. They have the option of having this fee payroll deducted at the rate of $11 per month for 12-month employees or $13.20 per month for 10-month faculty. Forms may be picked up at the Entry Desk at the Student Recreation Center or Download Faculty/Staff Membership Form

Armstrong Adjunct Faculty/Part-Time Staff/Retirees/Contractors: These employees are also eligible to purchase Recreation Center memberships, but they must pay in advance. They may pay either $132 for a yearly membership or $44 per semester. Forms may be picked up at the Entry Desk at the Student Recreation Center or Download Faculty/Staff Membership Form

Guest: A guest may use the Student Recreation Center while accompanying a current member. A member may bring a maximum of 2 guests a day. A $5 fee will be charged per guest. The guest fee may only be paid by Pirate Cash. All guests must show a photo ID to gain admission.

Currently, we do not offer memberships to Alumni or family members of students, faculty, or staff.

**You must have a valid Pirate ID to enter the Student Recreation Center. NO EXCEPTIONS!
