Law Enforcement at Armstrong Resource Network (LEARN)

The Armstrong Atlantic State University Police Department is launching LEARN, a pilot program that will help bring all Armstrong students a better understanding of the criminal justice system and the professional opportunities available for students considering criminal justice as a career path.

LEARN will provide a practical understanding of specific aspects of the criminal justice field and will offer monthly programs that incorporate hands-on applications, including field trips, guest lecturers and practical exercises. The field trips will include visits to courtroom to witness a trial, a correction institution to learn about the workings of the prison system, and the State Capitol, where students can learn about Legislative process.

Stay tuned for the LEARN 2013 activity schedule.
