Easy Activation

Once you are accepted into the university and registered for classes, a PirateCard account is automatically opened the first semester you are enrolled. Stop by the PirateCard office to obtain an ID and sign the PirateCard agreement form. There are NO charges for using your card to make purchases. You can add money to your account anytime throughout the year online using a credit card, in the Bursar's Office in Burnett Hall, or at the Pirate Express terminal in Lane Library.

ATTENTION NEW STUDENTS! During Navigate, your new ID will be made and your accounts activated. On-campus students who do not attend a Navigate session will have their ID made during move-in. Off-campus students who do not attend Navigate must come by the PirateCard Office to have their cards made.

What You Need to Have an ID Made

  • Attend Navigate/Orientation or Register for Classes for the Current Semester
    • Spring Semester beginning December 12, 2014
    • Summer Semester beginning May 8, 2015
    • Fall Semester beginning July 31, 2015
  • Student ID Number (907xxx)
  • Picture ID*
*A picture ID is any official government issued identification with your picture. This includes driver's license, passport, military ID. Social Security Cards and Birth Certificates cannot be accepted as forms of identification.
