Amber Tuten is a proud Armstrong alum. After completing her B.S. in Education, she went on to earn a master’s degree in adult and career education from Valdosta State University in 2000. Today, she serves as Program Director, Assistant Professor of the Medical Laboratory Science Program and Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Thomas University. In 2001, she was elected to serve on the Program Approval Review Committee of the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science. Amber is also a member of the editorial board for the Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching (MERLOT) and an active member of the American Society of Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS), the Georgia chapter of ASCLS and the Georgia Government Affairs Committee for issues related to medical laboratory science.
