Dr. Taggart’s commitment to nursing education caught the attention of former Georgia Governor Zell Miller, who appointed her to serve on the Georgia Board of Nursing. She has made significant contributions to diversity initiatives in nursing and helped Armstrong secure various grants in support of nursing students.
