Michael Mitchener

Michael Mitchener Class of 1985, 1988 Manager, Sam's Club

Mitchener came to Armstrong in 1985 to play baseball and basketball, concentrating on baseball starting his second year. He set many records including 98 RBI in his first full season. As a pitcher, he was throwing 94 MPH fastballs during Armstrong’s 62 games as an NCAA Division I team. He finished his Armstrong career as an NCAA II All-American player.
