Dale Lewis attended Armstrong as a mid-career student, focused on Economics. After graduation, he was accepted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Transportation Economics from the School of Ocean Engineering.

Mr. Lewis was recruited by CSX out of MIT. Over the last 18 years, he has served CSX in various leadership roles in Finance, Labor Relations, Marketing, Trucking, and Engineering support.

Mr. Lewis is highly active in youth mentoring, sponsoring a 45-youth Explorer Post, serving as a Scoutmaster and serving as Course Director for the Boy Scouts of America National Advanced Youth Leadership program at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He and his wife Mary live in Jacksonville.
