As the CEO for Optim Healthcare in Savannah for the past 10 years, Michael Kleinpeter is responsible for more than 1,000 employees, three hospitals, three MRI units, six outpatient therapy locations and one ambulatory surgery center. This former starting pitcher for Armstrong’s baseball team has gone on to become an accomplished leader in coastal Georgia’s healthcare field. The past president of Georgia Association of Orthopedic Executives, Michael is a proud member of the MHSA Advisory Board at Armstrong and enjoys the opportunity to give back to future generations of students. After earning a B.A. and MHSA from Armstrong, Michael received a Doctor of Education from Georgia Southern University in 2007. He and his wife, Ruth, have two sons and are members of Ferguson Avenue Baptist Church.
