As an undergraduate student at Armstrong, Faye Kirschner was active in drama, student government and dance. After earning a B.S. in Education, she taught Health and Physical Education in Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools for 30 years. During her career, she helped establish the children’s run for the March of Dimes and organized the Jump Rope for Heart Program. A member of the JEA Athletic Hall of Fame, she won Georgia’s state tennis tournament for three consecutive years, earning two #1 state tennis rankings for women’s singles. In 1996, she began teaching at Armstrong. Faye is a proud member of Armstrong’s Heritage Society and Alumni Association and an active contributor to The Armstrong Foundation.
