Otis Johnson

Otis Johnson Class of 1964 Former Mayor, City of Savannah

Johnson served as executive director of the Chatham-Savannah Youth Futures Authority and as chair of the National League of Cities, council on youth, education and families. He served a four-year term on the Savannah-Chatham Board of Education and retired as dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at Savannah State University. Mayor Johnson participated in the 2010 Board of Regents Awards and was presented as Armstrong’s distinguished alumnus.
