One of Michigan’s “best and brightest,” Harry Hunter, Jr. has devoted his career to helping others. He has been honored with the prestigious Spirit of Detroit Award in recognition of exceptional achievement, outstanding leadership and dedication to improving the quality of life in Detroit. Harry currently directs the employee assistance program and traumatic incident stress management services for 50,000 state government employees in Michigan and also serves as an adjunct professor with Wayne State University’s School of Social Work. A voracious reader and avid art collector, Harry credits Armstrong Atlantic State University with helping develop his leadership skills and putting him on a path for future success.
