Dr. Susan Punzel Conner

Dr. Susan Punzel Conner Class of 1969 Provost, Albion College

Dr. Punzel is a respected scholar who served as professor, chair of history and associate dean of academic affairs at Mercer University. She graduated with a Ph.D. from Florida State University in 1977 and joined the faculty of Central Michigan University, where she won awards for her teaching and scholarship. She served as vice president of academic affairs and dean at Florida Southern College. She is the author of The Age of Napoleon and numerous other scholarly articles.
