Amanda Cannon, the co-owner of Two Smart Cookies in Savannah, is truly living the sweet life. She has been featured in the pages of Southern Living, Cooking with Paula Deen and Skirt! Magazine and on CNN’s Headline News and The Food Network. Twice nominated for Small Business of the Year by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Amanda is a leader in Savannah’s small business community. Although she worked as a speech pathologist in Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools for more than 30 years, her second career as a business owner has brought exciting new goals, challenges and rewards. An active community volunteer, Amanda currently served as the president of the Blessed Sacrament Church Parish Council and is a volunteer and board member for Good Samaritan Clinic, which provides free health care for the uninsured.
