Barton graduated with a major in computer science and a minor in vocal performance. In the years since her graduation, she has worked full-time in the areas of computer science and information technology, while earning two additional degrees: and MBA and MSE. She volunteers as a child advocate with the Court Appointed Special Advocate, helping at-risk children and young women.
