Academic Outreach
Academic outreach is a vital aspect of the mission of OMA. Academic outreach provides OMA with the opportunity to address low academic performance; praise and recognize outstanding academic achievement; and provide guidance in study, retention and matriculation. There are two programs available for ethnic students at Armstrong – EASE and MACAS.
EASE Program
The Early Alert Support Environment (EASE) is a mentoring program designed to meet the needs of ethnic students by providing positive role models and visible campus leaders, plus enhancing their connections to the institutions' faculty and facilities.
MACAS
The Multicultural Academic Achievement Scholars (MACAS) program seeks to highlight the achievements of ethnic students. Students who obtain a minimum 3.00 grade point average upon completion of 12 hours in a semester will be notified.
