IT Security
Information Security is responsible for implementing and maintaining an information security program that protects the University’s systems, services and data against unauthorized loss, use, modification, damage and loss. We provide general security training for students, as well as specifically targeted messages about Copyright Infringement.
We also provide direct technical security training to Armstrong staff and faculty, whether they are system administrators or administrative staff. IT Security also looks at the processes that identify potential impacts that threaten the IT assets of the University in addition to providing a framework of policies, assessments, tools and tested procedures for building strategies and capabilities for effective responses to safeguard the information technology interests of Armstrong.
