About HOLA


Aligning with Armstrong’s Strategic Plan, the Hispanic Outreach & Leadership at Armstrong (HOLA) program is a student-focused Hispanic/Latino initiative that provides student support services and cultural awareness programs which strengthen the collegiate experience of a diverse body of campus constituents and community partners.
 
The HOLA Program is guided by the following organizational principles:
  • Intentionality- supporting student access and affordability at the University
  • Leadership- developing and empowering Hispanic student leaders
  • Ethical behavior- modeling best practices, integrity and responsibility while providing excellent customer service
  • Civic responsibility- engaging students in community service and advocacy to enrich their personal and social development

Program Vision
Assist Armstrong to become a Hispanic Serving Institution of choice in Georgia; by leading all University System of Georgia schools in modeling best practices and achieving successful rates of Hispanic/Latino student enrollment, retention and graduation.
