What are Scholarships?
Scholarships are funding that is provided to students to assist with educational expenses. Scholarships do not require repayment. Scholarship funds can be provided by various sources such as the government, your community, your employer, schools, and corporations. Because scholarships are very desirable and can be offered from many sources, be very careful to avoid scholarship scams.
Armstrong Scholarship Information
There are many scholarships available to Armstrong students that have been provided by Alumni of the University and generous donors, which are awarded on the basis of merit, need or both. Scholarship committees comprised both of faculty and staff, award these funds. You may apply for Armstrong scholarships using the appropriate academic scholarship application which is available online through SHIP. To apply, please see the button at the right of this screen.
When reviewing the applications the committee considers many factors including academic achievements, leadership experience, GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, as well as extracurricular activities. Applicants are required to write a statement expressing their financial need. This statement will be evaluated for its message, organization and grammar.
The deadlines for submission are noted on the scholarship applications.
