Academic Competiveness Grant (ACG)


This federal grant program has been discontinued beginning Fall 2011.


These federal grants are for students who are enrolled full-time in their first and second academic years, have graduated from a rigorous high school program of study, are U.S. citizens, are Pell Grant eligible, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or above for second year students. Students must answer questions on the FAFSA regarding their high school program of study. This information will be forwarded to AASU which will confirm the high school's rigorous program of study. For the first academic year of an eligible student's program of study, the annual award amount is $750 and the second academic year of an eligible student's program of study the annual award amount is $1300.
