Technology Purchases

A Technology Request Form must be submitted to IT Services for all technology equipment and software purchases including any type of renewals. This includes devices being connected to a computer or directly connected to the network. Software purchases include renewals. The Technology Request Form must be completed for check requests, pcard transactions, p.o. requisitions, or foundation funds.

IT Services does not need to approve the following purchasing requests:

  • Camera/video camcorder
  • CD-R, CD-RW or DVD disks
  • Computer LCD monitors
  • External hard drives
  • Flash drives
  • Headsets
  • Ink Cartridge
  • Keyboard - wired or wireless
  • Microphones
  • Mouse - wired or wireless
  • Power Cords/Adapters
  • Presenter pointer/clicker
  • Projector bulb
  • Webcams
