Computers & Labs
Desktop Support resolves issues affecting computer workstations, peripheral equipment such as printers and faxes, and network connectivity. Desktop Support is also responsible for the installation of hardware and operating software for all supported systems within the University, including lab computers.
Faculty and staff are required to have a separate account to access lab computers on campus. For security purposes, all computers on campus require a login.
For faculty/staff to use computers other than the one designated for their use (such as lab and Library computers), a special login is required. Example Faculty Lab Account: .melvinsa-lab.Guest.AASU
Students are required to use their Pirates’ Cove ID and password information to access the computers on campus.
