Celebrate Armstrong Festival

Thursday, October 9 • Noon - 6 p.m. Campus Quad

Kick off the Celebrate Armstrong weekend with the biggest celebration of year at the Celebrate Armstrong festival! Explore more than 50 departmental and student organization booths, ride the mechanical bull, climb the Rockwall, participate in games and contests, and enjoy a lineup of live entertainment. This event is free and open to the public.

Magician Jason Bishop

Friday, October 10 • 8 p.m. • Ogeechee Theatre

From his breathtaking Double Levitation to his cutting edge Op-Art and Plasma illusions, Jason Bishop features stunning & original state of the art magic. One thing that distinguishes Bishop is his virtuosity. Each show features award winning sleight of hand, exclusive grand illusions and close-up magic projected onto a huge movie screen. No other touring illusionist showcases such a diverse array of talents. Additionally, the show is delivered with a totally modern energy and an outstanding rock & pop soundtrack.

Celebrate Armstrong Alumni Gala

Friday, October 10 6 p.m. Armstrong Center Ballroom

Celebrate this year’s top alumni as we present the Notable, Outstanding and Distinguished Alumni Awards at a black-tie optional gala evening featuring a cocktail reception, dinner and awards ceremony. The cocktail reception begins at 6 p.m. with dinner and ceremony at 7 p.m. There will be a special pre-reception for our BBA alumni at 5:30 p.m. in the balcony. Single tickets are $75 and table of eight is available at a group rate of $500. Proceeds will go to benefit scholarship funds to build the next generation of Armstrong Alumni. Celebrate Armstrong Beach Music Blowout

Saturday, October 11 • 6 - 9:30 p.m. • Burnett Boulevard Lawn

The Celebrate Armstrong weekend will go out with a bang at the Beach Music Blowout that will be full of food, fun and fireworks! Relax on the front lawn off of Burnett Boulevard and enjoy a military salute and music from Band of Oz, a prominent U.S. beach music group with roots as far back as 1967. This event is free and open to the public.
