Celebrate Armstrong Festival

Thursday, October 24 • 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Join Armstrong's biggest celebration of the year at the Celebrate Armstrong Festival. Explore the many departmental and student organization booths, participate in games and contests, and sit back and enjoy the live entertainment on the beautiful quad of the campus.

A Moveable Feast: Laura Wessel Lecture

Thursday, October 24 • 6 p.m. • The Ralph Gilbert Civil Rights Museum, 460 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Laura Wessel discusses "Presidential Authority and National Threats: Thinking Critically about Power” in this free, public lecture.The lecture is a part of “A Moveable Feast,” a fall-to-spring series of monthly lectures and performances by its distinguished faculty, ferrying you into a variety of historic venues in beautiful downtown Savannah.

John Cassidy Magic Show

Thursday, October 24 •  7 p.m. • Studnet Union Savannah Ballroom

John Cassidy is a professional comedian, magician, and balloon artist. He holds records for producing 717 balloon sculptures in an hour. It is a show filled with awe.

Annual Athletics Golf Outing

Friday, October 25 • 8 a.m. • Savannah Quarters

Put together a foursome and tee off with the Pirates at Crosswinds Golf Club. The annual Armstrong Athletics Golf Outing helps the Pirates raise money for scholarships and special projects. There are plenty of on-the-course contests as well as a silent auction at dinner after you're done on the course. Pirate Madness

Friday, October 25 • 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. • Sports Center

Join the Pirates as we kick off the 2013-14 basketball season with our annual Pirate Madness. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the event is free to everyone. Enjoy free pizza as the men's and women's basketball teams are introduced and compete in a three-point shoot out and slam dunk contest. There will be a student dunk contest as well as a Student-Faculty/Staff basketball game.  At the end of the night one Armstrong student will have a chance to win free spring semester book.

Foam Party

Come dance and hang out with your friends at the biggest dance of the year at Armstrong.  Must have valid current student Pirate Card to be admitted to this event.

Treasure Savannah

Saturday, October 26 • 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. • Student Union Residential Plaza

Treasure Savannah is Armstrong's day of service event that celebrates Armstrong's rich history in Savannah. You can sign up to volunteer at a variety of projects on and off campus to give back to the Savannah community. Transportation is provided for volunteers from campus to the different project sites as well as a Treasure Savannah t-shirt and lunch. Participating in Treasure Savannah is a great way to celebrate Armstrong in Savannah.

Treasure Walk

Saturday, October 26 • 9:45 a.m. • Sports Center, Alumni Arena

The Armstrong Treasure Walk was started in 2012 to benefit the BJ Ford Scholarship. In its first year, the Treasure Walk raised over $10k for the scholarship fund, which helps female student-athletes complete their degree. Form a team or walk as an individual as we tour the Armstrong campus and then join us for lunch and a silent auction. The Treasure Walk is a great way to honor one of the pioneers of Armstrong women’s athletics as well as ensure the success of future Pirates. For more information, log onto armstrongpirates.com.

Soccer Tailgate

Bring the family for an afternoon of music, fun and game-day treats. You can bring your own picnic or sample our offerings as we pump up Pirate pride with prizes and contests. You will also get the opportunity to stake your claim for the best seats at the afternoon’s Pirate Soccer match.

Alumni Softball Game

Saturday, October 26 • 1 p.m. • Armstrong Softball Field

All former Pirate softball players are invited back to campus for the Alumni Game. The alumni game is a great way to catch up with former teammates, relive the great memories from the diamond as well as meet the current Pirates who recently returned from the school's first appearance in the NCAA Division II College World Series. Celebrate Armstrong Finale

Saturday, October 26 • Evening • Campus Quad and Victor Field

The Celebrate Finale will feature Savannah's finest in music, entertainment, and cuisine. Come enjoy the evening on the quad with your fellow students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends. Enjoy low country boil and BBQ while listening to Suckerpunch on the beautiful quad in the middle of campus.  The event will conclude as we light up the sky with a firework display. This will be an event you will not want to miss!
