Science Drive/Compass Point Drive Modifications

In preparation for the future construction of new tennis courts, South Science Drive and the intersection of Compass Point Drive and Roger Warlick Drive will be modified during the next 60-90 days.

On or about December 27, 2012, construction on the Compass Point Drive/Roger Warlick Drive intersection will commence to convert the intersection to a full service intersection with left and right turns for traffic on both streets.  Once construction begins the intersection will close and remain closed to facilitate the modifications.

After the completion of the modifications to the Compass Point/Roger Warlick intersection, South Science Drive, between the rear service entrance to the Sports Arena and Roger Warlick Drive, will be removed to make space for the future tennis courts. During this phase, Compass Point Drive will re-open. A sidewalk connector, between the pedestrian/bikeway at Roger Warlick and the north/south pedestrian/bikeway adjacent to Windward Commons, will be installed as part of this project.
