Notice of Natural Gas Pipelines
Armstrong Atlantic State University
11935 Abercorn Street
Savannah, Georgia 31419

As required by the Georgia Public Service Commission, Office of Pipeline Safety, Armstrong Atlantic State University is to quarterly notify the campus community that our campus is provided reliable natural gas through natural gas pipelines.  This notice is intended to meet this requirement.

If at any time you detect the smell of natural gas or hear a possible natural gas leak coming from pipes on campus please leave the area immediately and go to a safe location.  You should at once notify campus police by calling 912.344.3333.  Campus police are available 24 hours a day.  If you think a leak may be occurring and you are exiting from inside a building, do not turn lights on or off from a light switch, do not use the telephone, or take any action that could possibly create a spark.

Digging on the campus property is strictly prohibited without prior consent from the Plant Operations office, as damage to natural gas pipelines may occur.

If you have any questions concerning natural gas on the Armstrong campus please contact David Roberts, Environmental Services Coordinator for the Plant Operations Department at:  912.344.2545.
