Cameron Clements Is New Alumni Program Coordinator

Cameron Clements(January 17, 2013) Armstrong Atlantic State University recently named Cameron R. Clements as the Alumni Program Coordinator. In her new position, Clements will work with the Director of Alumni Development to provide a broad range of engagement activities for Armstrong’s 30,000+ alumni. She will support the planning and execution of various alumni-based events and programs. 

Clements previously served as Professional Academic Advisor for the Department of Communication Arts at Georgia Southern University (GSU). During her three years in that position she helped over 500 students with college and career planning. She also serves as the Event Coordinator for her family’s wedding and events venue, Quinney Oaks Plantation in Millen, Ga.

Always looking for ways to serve the community, Clements also has a strong commitment to service. She was selected by the GSU Office of Admissions to serve as the State Charitable Volunteer where she assisted in raising money for various Georgia-based charities. In 2007, she was a guest writer for the Statesboro Herald, answering reader’s questions regarding public relations issues. She also served on the GSU Judicial Board for 9 years.

Clements recently graduated from GSU with a Master of Arts in English Literature in May 2013. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from GSU in 2008. 

She lives on Wilmington Island with her husband Warren and their dog Ellè.
