Dual Enrollment Guidelines and Procedures
Accel Program
To qualify for Accel admission
- Be on track to complete the University System of Georgia's Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) requirements
- Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (or a minimum numeric average of 80) in all academic courses
- Be a legal resident of the state of Georgia as defined by the University System of Georgia
- Meet the following score requirements on the SAT I or ACT

| Math minimum 430 | Math minimum 18 |
| Combined (Critical Reading and Math) minimum 1000 | Composite minimum 21 |
How to Apply for the Accel Program at Armstrong
To apply for admission, a student must submit the following in a complete packet to the Office of Academic Orientation and Advisement, 212 Solms Hall. This office coordinates all Dual Enrollment applications.
- Complete the Armstrong Atlantic Application for Undergraduate Admission
- $25.00 application fee (check made payable to AASU)
- Completed Immunization Form (see the undergraduate application for admission)
- Official High School Transcripts (in a sealed envelope)
- Official SAT I or ACT Scores (sent directly to admissions from college board, or included on high school transcript)
- High School Counselor/Parent Consent Form
Enrollment Restrictions

| SAT I: 1000-1090 or ACT 21-23 | 1 course (3-4 credit hours) |
| SAT I: 1100+ or ACT 24 + | 3 courses (9-10 credit hours) |
Students wishing to enroll in more than the allowable number of courses must submit a written request to the Director of Academic Orientation and Advisement, Mr. Greg Anderson.
Mathematics Considerations
Eligibility for Pre-calculus Mathematics (MATH 1113) and College Calculus I (MATH 1161) is based on the following test scores:

MOWR Admission
To qualify for admission
- Be on track to complete the University System of Georgia's Required High School Curriculum (RHSC) requirements
- Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (or a minimum numeric average of 80) in all academic courses
- Be a legal resident of the state of Georgia as defined by the Georgia Department of Education
- Attend the high school for one year previous to admission (inclusion in two FTE counts)
- Be prepared to take a full-time course load (12-13 semester hours)
- Meet the following score requirements on the SAT I or ACT

| Math minimum 600 | Math minimum 26 |
| Combined (Critical Reading and Math) minimum 1200 | Composite minimum 26 |
How to Apply for the MOWR Program at Armstrong
To apply for admission, a student must submit the following in a complete packet to the Office of Academic Orientation and Advisement, 212 Solms Hall. This office coordinates all Dual Enrollment applications.
- Completed paper copy of the Armstrong Atlantic Application for Undergraduate Admission
- $25.00 application fee (check made payable to AASU)
- Completed Immunization Form (see the undergraduate application for admission)
- Official High School Transcripts (in a sealed envelope)
- Official SAT I or ACT Scores (sent directly to admissions from college board, or included on high school transcript)
- MOWR Checklist
- MOWR Permission Form
