Alumni Association Accepting Nominations for New Alumni Awards
The Armstrong Alumni Association announces the merger of the Armstrong Notables and Armstrong Alumni Awards. The two award categories have been combined into one seamless program designed to recognize and honor the most outstanding alumni.
The Armstrong Alumni Association is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Alumni Awards. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 23, 2013. Awards will be presented on Oct. 5.

50th Celebration of Desegregation of Savannah
Desegregation Symposium 08/24/13 1:00 PM-5:00 PM. - Savannah High School
This August celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Desegregation of Savannah. Armstrong played a pivotal role in Desegregation and as such, is collaborating with various City Officials and Civil Rights Activists to commemorate such a momentous occasion. Armstrong faculty, staff, and the Armstrong "Anointed Voices" choir will be key features throughout the celebration. Dr. Michael Benjamin and Dr. Elizabeth Desnoyers-Colas will be facilitating workshops during the symposium.
The Office of OMA will provide transportation, lunch, and t-shirts to the first 50 student participants registered by August 21st.
