Where To Use It

 

Pirate Cash

This is money deposited that may be used for purchases anywhere the PirateCard is accepted. Funds are not automatically deposited to this account. Cardholders must deposit funds into this account for use. Funds may be added to a Pirate Cash account any time via check, cash, or credit card at the Bursar's Office in Burnett Hall, via cash or credit card at the Pirate Express Terminal in Lane Library and Student Uion kiosk, or online by clicking the "Manage Your Account" button on this web page and using a credit card. These funds roll over from semester to semester.

Board Plans

Students living on-campus will receive a form to sign up for a board plan along with the Housing Application. All students living on-campus are required to purchase a board plan. If you do not sign up for a board plan, you  will be assigned one depending on your residence and ranking (i.e. Freshmen, Sophmore, Junior, Senior). The options for board plans are 19 Board Plan*, 14 Board Plan*, 10 Board Plan or 5 Board Plan. Any changes to board plans must be made in writing at the Housing Office. The first meal is served during housing move-in and the last meal is served the last day of finals. Meals reset every Sunday morning and do not roll over from week to week.

* Freshmen students living on-campus are required to purchase  a 19 Board Plan or 14 Board Plan.
 
 

Block Plans

Commuter students, faculty, and staff members have the option to purchase block plans for use in The Galley. These blocks can be used at any meal during the semester. Blocks do not roll over from semester to semester and any unused meals will be removed after the last day of finals. The options for block plans are 10 Block, 25 Block, and 50 Block. All block plans must be purchased from the Bursar's Office, and more meal blocks may be added during the semester. Simply fill out the meal plan sign-up form and bring it to the Bursar's Office. The first meal is served during housing move-in and the last meal is served the last day of finals.
 

Dining Dollars

Dining dollars are available for both on-campus and off-campus students. Funds are not automatically deposited to this account. Cardholders must deposit funds onto this account for use. Funds deposited in this account are designated to be used at on-campus dining facilities (The Galley, The Perk, The Pirate's Pantry, Quiznos and WOW). Residential students have the option of adding these funds as a supplement to their meal plan. These funds roll over from semester to semester.
 
 

Bookstore Bucks

Bookstore Bucks is an optional account. Funds deposited in this account are designated to be used only at the Armstrong Bookstore for books and school supplies. These funds roll over from semester to semester.

 
 

Pharos Cash

Your technology fee provides $8.80 (equal to 110 black and white pages) to your account for printing each semester. Printing is available in several labs and the library. Once this account is depleted, funds may be added to your Pirate Cash account for more prints. These funds do not roll over from semester to semester, but are reset at the beginning of each semester.
