International Graduate Admission Requirements
(for students currently on F-1 visas or requiring I-20's to apply for F-1 visa's at the embassy or consulate in their home country)
International students or students with transcripts from countries other than the U.S. have additional documents or evaluations required. Plan to begin the application process at least nine months in advance of when you would like to begin your program.
Your completed application packet, which includes general admission requirements and individual program requirements, should be submitted to Graduate Enrollment Services by the posted admission deadlines. Your application packet, transcripts and scores should be sent to:

: : All students that have undergraduate or graduate degrees or any courses that have been completed in countries outside the United States, are required to have an outside evaluation agency do a transcript and degree evaluation of both the courses and/or degree. A course-by-course evaluation with a grade point average (GPA) calculation is required. Acceptable evaluation agencies are Josef A. Silny & Associates, Inc., (www.jsilny.com) or World Education Services, (www.wes.org).
Important: If you are applying for a degree in Education, please check with the Armstrong College of Education and/or the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) regarding acceptable international evaluation agencies. The GaPSC publishes a list of their own acceptable evaluation agencies. It is the student responsibility to ensure that your evaluation agency is acceptable to the GaPSC.
: : This evaluation must state that you have the minimum equivalency of a four year U.S. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. If your evaluation does not state that you have the equivalent of a minimum of a 4 year U.S. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, then you will not be eligible to apply to Graduate Studies, and your paperwork will be referred to our Undergraduate Admissions Office. Neither Armstrong nor Graduate Studies will act as an intermediary between a student and the evaluation agency.
