Approved Evaluation Agencies
All students who have completed coursework in a country other than the United States are required to submit a transcript and degree evaluation from an agency that is approved by Armstrong. A course-by-course evaluation with a grade point average (GPA) calculation is required.
Your evaluation must state that you have the minimum equivalency of a four-year U.S. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution. If your evaluation does not state that you have the equivalent of a minimum of a four-year U.S. Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, then you will not be eligible to apply to a graduate program, and your paperwork will be referred to our Office of Admissions. Neither Armstrong nor the Office of Admissions will act as an intermediary between a student and the evaluation agency.
The following evaluation agencies are approved by the Graduate Admissions Office:
- Josef Silny, Inc .
- World Education Services, Inc.
- Education Credential Evaluators, Inc.
- International Education Research Foundation, Inc.
- American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers
- Lisano International
Please Note: If you are applying for a degree in Education, please check with the Armstrong College of Education and/or the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) regarding acceptable international evaluation agencies. The GaPSC publishes a list of their own acceptable evaluation agencies. It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the evaluation agency is acceptable to both the GaPSC and Armstrong Graduate Admissions.
