Walk/Run Now! Raises Autism Awareness

(April 26, 2012) April is National Autism Awareness month, and Armstrong Atlantic State University’s chapter of Autism Speaks U is supporting the cause by hosting Walk/Run Now!, a 5k race to raise funds and awareness about autism.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the field across from Victor Hall (on Arts Drive). Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.

Local businesses have also come out to show support for the event. Moon Bounces and More has provided a moon bounce for the event, and Star Castle Family Entertainment Center donated free passes that will raffled off during the walk.
