“Teachers: Earn an Advanced Degree” Information Session
(July 12, 2012) Armstrong’s College of Education “Teachers: Earn an Advanced Degree” information session will help educate working teachers on the benefits of earning a Master of Education degree and upgrading their certification. The session will take place on Tuesday, July 17, 6p.m. at the Armstrong Center, 13040 Abercorn Street in Savannah and is free and open to the public.
Teachers already certified and working are encouraged to come to the information session to learn more about Armstrong’s Master of Education programs in early childhood education and curriculum and instruction to help upgrade their teaching certificates. All courses are offered in the evening or online. Teachers can start classes in the fall semester, which begins August 13.
The information session will address the opportunities gained by earning an advanced degree, course schedules and flexibility, the application process and financial aid. Attendees will be able to ask questions and receive individual attention.
